One. Respect the mods and the players. That means no bringing Out of Character drama into the game, that means it better not show up in the IC community or OOC community. Have a problem with someone? Do not talk to them, do not play with them. If the problems gets serious, come to the mods, we will handle it.

Two. God-moding, Mary Sue & Gary Stu are not welcome here. Characters must display proper characterization and show room for evolving within the game. No one is perfect, everyone has flaws. No exceptions.

Three. Game Days run in the ration 4 to 1. That means Four Real Life Days = One Game Day. If there is a major plot Game Day, it might be extended. Or, say, if it is a break, we may shorten it.

Four. Proper spelling and grammar are a must. No net speak what so ever. Come on people, can we not show we actually went to school and graduated? Some mistakes are acceptable, within reason. No one is perfect, but we urge you to use a spell check and to double check your post before posting.

Five. And with Four comes the proper RP format.

Six. If you send in an application and it is less than satisfactory we will only allow for you to re-apply once more. After that you may not re-apply, no matter what character you are wanting to have.

Character limit is set to three.

Also when you send in the application input the following in the Subject Line. Character App: (insert character's name you are applying for). You do not do this and you will automatically be declined. We like making sure players read the Rules.

Seven. This is an Original Character game, but we have names selected, at least one name per house/grade/sex, names for the Staff and names for the Student Council, those are non-negotiable. Any like surnames denote they are siblings. Simple, eh?

Eight. Journals are not magically connected, they are just normal journals. So your character can use them as they see fit. Write journal entries, short stories, songs, poetry, drawings... Whatever your character would do with it is fine.

Nine. The Age Limit is 16. Non-negotiable. While this community may never see explicit sexual content, there will be adult-like situations. And with this, if you are posting something beyond PG-13, state it! Put it behind a cut!

Ten. Sex, drug abuse, cutting... This is a student game based in America in current times, so these things do happen, whether I like it or not. Just keep it realistic and discuss with he mods exactly what you have planned and will do before you do it. And like with all bad things, there is a high probability they will be caught, and if they are they will receive proper punishment.

Eleven. Activity! We require you to let us know you are still there. This means at least one thread/log or comments to a thread per real life week. If you go two weeks without any activity, we will contact you to see what is happening. If it continues after that, you will be dropped.

And we are not mean, if you have something major come up, just tell us ahead of time. We will put you on hiatus and you will not need to worry about it.

Twelve. Allowed Pets: Rat, mouse, owl, toad, frog, lizards (within reason), feline, canine, ferret, rabbit, avian (within reason), any others would need the explicit permission of the Headmistress.

Note: ‘Within reason’ means that any mundane version is likely acceptable, magical will depend. Also, Mods reserve the right to refuse pet, but that does not mean we refuse the application.
